SKILL ENHANCEMENT

Dr P Mohamed Ali, our founder, has always believed that an educated society is the cornerstone of a strong nation. His philosophy of education has always been to empower children and adults for positive social change.

The CSM Central School at Thalikulam, where our founder was born, focuses on youth education. Besides providing scholarships to meritorious students, MFAR supports the school’s football and athletic teams. MFAR also supports the Thalikulam Vikas Trust (TVT) in Thrissur, Kerala. Established in 2004, TVT trains underprivileged village men and women to become independent in order to find appropriate employment and earn a living.

Through specialized education in the areas of life skills and employment opportunities, we provide a beacon of hope for men and women in our communities. Our skill development efforts are focused on Computer Training, Call Center Training, Tailoring, and Craft Skills.

Education

INDIAN SCHOOL – AL GHUBRA

Founded in 1990, The Indian School, Al Ghubra, in Muscat is a testament to MFAR’s commitment to capability building for the children of the Indian expatriate community in the Sultanate of Oman.
Today, the school has over 3,000 students, representing nine nationalities.

The school curricula and activities espouse the principles
of the Round Square movement summarized as IDEALS:

  • Adventure activities
  • Leadership skills
  • Service to their communities

Community Empowerment

MFAR’s core values of farsightedness, commitment, professionalism and a focus on people, have defined our engagement with communities. From our Chairman and Founder, Dr. P. Mohamed Ali comes the idea that empowering our communities lies at the heart of empowering the nation. MFAR works extensively on social outreach programs through our foundations and charitable trusts.

With a focus on health, access to medical services, employment, upliftment and empowerment at all levels of society, MFAR’s corporate social responsibility is not an afterthought but is woven into our corporate fabric and intrinsic to our vision, mission and philosophy.

Talikulam Vikas Trust (TVT)

Started in 2004, the Trust is a grassroots initiative, with a focus on the following areas:

  • Education
  • Health
  • Social security
Rasiya Charitable Trust
The Rasiya Charitable Trust was established in 2009 as a vehicle to provide financial assistance in the following areas:

  • Orphanages
  • Senior Citizens Home
  • Healthcare
  • Disaster Relief
  • Education
Community Outreach Efforts

MFAR staff constantly dedicates time to support development initiatives and improve lives.

In this respect, MFAR Constructions have conducted several programs organising raising awareness in health conditions and organising several camps to improve the state of health in our communities.
